Dolby Atmos® is an innovative audio technology that envelops your fans in an immersive listening experience. While music mixed in stereo is limited to left and right channels, music created in Dolby Atmos is freed from channels, allowing artists to place individual sounds all around you. As an artist, you can also decide the volume, size, and vibrancy of each instrument to reveal nuanced details in the music.

Our Process

Discovery

You provide mix stems from a premixed stereo release (WAV or CAF minimum 44.1 kHz/16 Bit). We can also mix from unmixed tracks, for an additional fee. We then examine your music to determine how it's details can be best represented in 3D space as Spatial Audio featuring Dolby Atomos.

Creating Your Mix

We create a Dolby Atmos® immersive mix of using dynamic, spectral, and effect processing through a 7.1.4 or 11 speaker monitoring system. This is NOT simply a conversion process. It is a creative process that requires time and attention to detail. It involves placing instruments, voices and effects in 3D space as well as adding subtle beat synced movement using official Dolby Atmos tools. 

Delivery

We deliver a BWAV ADM file and a Stereo WAV file which contains the spatial information Apple needs to provide Apple Music Spatial Audio files for your music. The Stereo WAV will contain a "flattened" version of the spatial inforation. It WILL sound different from your original, pre-Atmos mix.

Submission & Distribution

You submit your BWAV ADM file and Stereo WAV file to your music distibution service.  Not all distributions services are supporting Dolby Atmos® yet, so be sure yours does before ordering your mixes. Right now Distrokid and Tune Core are supporting Apple Music Spatial Audio.
